The path to East Asia is opening up soon.

Paradox Interactive announced that Crusader Kings 3: All Under Heaven will be released for PC on October 28, 2025. The major DLC will expand the playable area of CK3 to China, Japan, and Southeast Asia, adding various mechanics and gameplay systems to support these regions.

Players can strive to inherit the Mandate of Heaven and claim China’s Hegemony title, but they’ll need to navigate the Dynastic Cycle: What may help them rise to the top, may just as easily help cast them down. Japan, meanwhile, is caught in a power struggle between great houses that will either see power restored to the emperor or the rise of a shogun to provide the guiding hand the country needs. In Southeast Asia, great temple cities and god kings dictate the rules of life.

Naturally, the introduction of the great empires of the East will impact players starting in Europe: Innovations and riches from China travel up the Silk Road and can benefit those clever enough to use them. Additionally, the introduction of natural disasters and great projects will affect every realm on the map.

“All Under Heaven fulfills one of our great ambitions,” commented game director Alexander Oltner. “We've always seen Crusader Kings as the story of the entire medieval world, and you can't fully tell that story without East Asia. This vision for the series predates my leadership, and it is exciting to bring it to fruition. This is the largest expansion in Crusader Kings history, and that posed a lot of new challenges for us. We hope that our players find a lot to learn and love in All Under Heaven.”
