Elemental: Reforged Early Access release date announced for PC

Stardock announced that Elemental: Reforged, the strategy game remaster revealed earlier this year, will be released into Early Access for PC on October 23, 2025.
A reimagined version of 2010’s Elemental: War of Magic, Reforged wants to deliver the original game’s full potential to players, which at the time was hamstringed by hardware constraints. As a result, Reforged will unite concepts from all of the Elemental games, as was initially planned 15 years ago.
The fantasy turn-based 4X strategy game will offer a sandbox experience, allowing players to design their own dynasties and units, embark on quests, and shape the map via terraforming.
Interestingly, Stardock claimed in the press release announcing the release date that it did not plan on launching the game via Early Access, but intended to launch it in February 2026. CEO Bradley Wardell stated: “We assumed we’d just finish the remastering and release in February 2026. But fans’ interest has been much greater than anticipated. With Early Access, we have the opportunity to refine the game alongside our players and prioritize what they want us to focus on.”
