Team Cherry took its sweet time developing Hollow Knight: Silksong — because it was simply too much fun to keep adding things, the developers said. But now that a release date for the game has been announced, things are moving very quickly: Silksong will be out this week.
Another positive surprise for fans of the original game is the successor’s price: Team Cherry is selling the sequel for $19.99 USD, making it quite affordable compared to many other massive audience magnets coming out this year.
Hollow Knight: Silksong will be released on September 4, 2025, at 10am EDT. Here is what that means for your timezone:
