HoYoverse announces one-click time skip for Genshin Impact 5.8

Genshin Impact 5.8 will make it easier for players to use the time skip feature during quests that have certain time of day requirements. At the moment, players will need to enter the main menu and use the clock feature from there. Following the patch, which goes live on July 30, 2025, the feature will be available directly by clicking on the “Navigate to Quest” button below the mission objective display on the left side of the screen. Alternatively, you can use the shortcut to access it.

Additionally the developers will make the game’s audio settings accessible during dialog scenes, allowing you to adjust the volume at any point, and add character icons to all the local specialty collection areas displayed on the map, making it easier to keep track of which materials you’re actually looking for.

Oculus Resonance Stones can be consumed repeatedly to mark additional Oculi in the coming version and Artifacts that have especially good stats for a chosen character will have a special visual effect on the character screen to give you feedback.

All characters released in Version 5.7 or later will come with in-game demo videos available from their Talents overview. This should be great for anyone being overwhelmed by the skill descriptions.
