HoYoverse

HoYoverse has officially unveiled the HSR 3.4 character banners, confirming when players can pull for brand-new 5-Star character Phainon.

However, Phainon is not the only unit available throughout HSR 3.4, as several high profile reruns have been scheduled to take place — on top of a special banner that highlights the characters who are getting kit reworks and the long awaited HSR x Fate UBW collaboration banner with Saber and Archer. Weep for those Stellar Jade savings, because they won't live through this patch unharmed.

HSR 3.4 banners: Phase 1

Starting on July 2, 2025, with HSR 3.4’s release, you’ll be able to call upon the following characters and Light Cones for three weeks:

  • Phainon (5-Star, Destruction, Physical), Tingyun (4-Star, Harmony, Lightning), March 7th (4-Star, Preservation, Ice), Yukong (4-Star, Harmony, Imaginary)
  • Tribbie (5-Star, Harmony, Quantum), Sunday (5-Star, Harmony, Imaginary), Sparkle (5-Star, Harmony, Quantum), Tingyun (4-Star, Harmony, Lightning), March 7th (4-Star, Preservation, Ice), Yukong (4-Star, Harmony, Imaginary)
  • Thus Burns the Dawn (5-Star, Destruction) and three 4-Star Light Cones
  • If Time Were a Flower (5-Star, Harmony), Earthly Escapade (5-Star, Harmony), A Grounded Ascent (5-Star, Harmony) and three 4-Star Light Cones

Phainon

Phainon is set to be a devastating damage dealer and will use the Territory mechanic that was first introduced with Castorice. Instead of using Energy, Phainon collects Coreflames and can consume these to activate his Ultimate, which in turn creates a special Territory. This temporarily removes all allies from the battlefield (though retaining all their effects), allows Phainon to take several extra turns, and implants Physical Weakness in all enemies. In this special taste, Phainon has access to three different skills, based on different groups of Titans.

Tribbie

Tribbie is a powerful Support character for various team archetypes thanks to her varied kit — she brings Follow-Up Attacks, benefits from having allies with high Max HP, and attacks many enemies at once. Additionally, she brings a powerful All-Type RES PEN boost for her team to the table.

Sparkle

Sparkle is a strong Support who specializes in Skill Point recovery and turn manipulation on top of buffing her allies. Although this hasn’t been the strongest skillset recently, the debut of Archer gives Sparkle a new potential team mate with strong synergy.

Sunday

Sunday is the strongest Support character when it comes to bolstering a team with summoners, no matter whether they follow The Remembrance or not. He’s a great pick-up for anyone itching to get their Jing Yuan back into action or needing to get their Aglaea team to the next level.

HSR x Fate UBW banners

The Fate UBW collaboration begins on July 11, 2025, which is when the special banners with Saber and Archer will become available. Note that these banners will run for longer than any regular banners — they are scheduled to remain in the game even after Version 3.6, which is the deadline to claim one copy of Archer for free. You can use the same tickets to pull on these banners as for regular limited banners.

  • Saber (5-Star, Destruction, Wind)
  • Archer (5-Star, Hunt, Quantum)
  • A Thankless Coronation (5-Star, Destruction)
  • The Hell Where Ideals Burn (5-Star, Hunt)

Saber

Saber is an ATK-based damage dealer who excels at regenerating Energy for herself, which greatly accelerates the use of her Ultimate — the mighty Excalibur. Activating her Ultimate is enabling her to use an Enhanced Basic Attack that can hit all enemies on the field as well, so she’s a threat for waves as well as single targets.

Archer

Archer is an expert at downing single targets and can use his Skill repeatedly in the same turn by spending additional Skill Points. Similar to Sparkle – who will be a great team mate for him – Archer upgrades the team’s maximum SP and will benefit from the team having a high number of SP. Additionally, Archer can launch Follow-Up Attacks that recover SP as long as he’s got Charge points to spend.

HSR 3.4 banners: Phase 2

Phase 2 of HSR 3.4 will begin on July 23, 2025, and run for three weeks from that point on. You’ll be able to get the following characters and Light Cones in this time period:

  • Firefly (5-Star, Destruction, Fire), Blade (5-Star, Destruction, Wind), Jingliu (5-Star, Destruction, Ice), Hanya (4-Star, Harmony, Physical), Lynx (4-Star, Abundance, Quantum), and Luka (4-Star, Nihility, Physical)
  • Whereabouts Should Dreams Rest (5-Star, Destruction), The Unreachable Side (5-Star, Destruction), I Shall Be My Own Sword (5-Star, Destruction), and three 4-Star Light Cones.

Firefly

Firefly remains one of the most powerful damage dealers in the game and excels at inflicting Super Break DMG. She also brings her own Fire Weakness implant, making her extremely versatile.

Blade

Blade consumes his own HP to deal extra damage to enemies and unleash powerful Follow-Up Attacks. His buffs further trim his kit towards being HP-based instead of the directionless mess it was previously.

Jingliu

Jingliu is getting a similar treatment as Blade: Her kit is being streamlined to be more HP-based, allowing her to take advantage of different equipment and team compositions to regain her spot as one of the top damage dealers.
