With a foreboding and ominous title like “For the Sun is Set to Die” the odds are high that HSR 3.4 is going to be an emotional ride — and the special program scheduled for June 20, 2025, will tell us all about it.

Update 3.4 for Honkai: Star Rail is set to be one with many highlights, as it will bring about the climax of the first part of the Amphoreus storyline, feature the debut of Phainon, bring buffs to fan favorite characters from previous versions, and contain the Fate UBW collaboration — all things fans are very excited about.

HSR 3.4 livestream – what to expect
HSR 3.3 ended with a majority of the remaining Chrysos Heirs sacrificing themselves to get the final Coreflames to Okhema. At the Vortex of Genesis, Phainon had a fateful encounter with the mysterious – and very suspect – intellitron Lygus as well as his old love, Cyrene. Will he remake the world in HSR 3.4, like he’s supposed to? The livestream is going to give us a glimpse at the events we’ll experience.
Naturally, the special program will provide information about Phainon’s abilities in combat — and do the same for Saber and Archer, the two characters joining the roster thanks to the Fate UBW collaboration set to begin shortly after the version’s release.
We’ll also get details about the gameplay buffs that will be implemented for Kafka, Jingliu, Blade, and Silver Wolf as well as upcoming features for HSR 3.4, such as dialog skip and story replays.
