Kaiju No. 8 – The Game release date announced for PC

Akatsuki Games revealed that Kaiju No. 8 – The Game will become available for PC on October 1, 2025, as a free-to-play title.
The turn-based gacha RPG launched on iOS and Android at the end of August 2025, achieving more than three million downloads.
Based on Naoya Matsumoto’s manga – and the subsequent anime series – the game contains an original storyline as well as scenarios directly taken from the source material, providing both new and old fans with plenty of excitement and complex character relationships to dive into.
Similar to other games of the genre, combat controls are fairly simple and the main strategy lies in the team-building aspect, as all characters and enemies come with their own unique traits and abilities that need to be considered.
