Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord – War Sails release date announced for PC, PS5, and Xbox

It’s time to find your sea legs, because Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord – War Sails is coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on November 26, 2025, for a price of $24.99 USD.

War Sails is a major expansion for the strategy RPG that adds naval warfare and sea travel in addition to overhauling and enlarging the world map. Players can command their own fleets in combat with 18 different ship types being available to recruit. Between boarding, ramming, and burning enemy vessels, there are plenty of options in battle — but beware sudden storms or a rapid change in wind direction, as they might turn a winning battle into a tragic defeat.

Thanks to the overhauled map players won’t just be able to raid coastlines or shipping lanes, but navigate deep inland on large rivers, giving these landmarks even more strategic importance.

Arriving alongside all of the naval mechanics are new companions, equipment, and cosmetic options.
