Hypergryph’s upcoming game Arknights: Endfield finally has a release window, targeting “early 2026” for its launch — if Apple can be trusted, that is.

Endfield made an appearance in the tech company’s announcement materials for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, with a footnote in the official press release clarifying that “Arknights: Endfield will be available in early 2026.”

The open-world gacha title with automation game elements was used as an example for games benefiting from the A19 Pro, the chip powering the revealed devices.

“When paired with the Apple-designed vapor chamber, A19 Pro enables iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max to deliver up to 40 percent better sustained performance than the previous generation — ideal for gaming, video editing, and running large local language models,” Apple promised. “The 6-core CPU is the fastest CPU in any smartphone, and the 6-core GPU architecture includes Neural Accelerators built into each GPU core, a larger cache, and more memory than A18 Pro. The GPU works in tandem with the new 16-core Neural Engine to power Al models, stunning graphics, and AAA gaming titles like Arknights: Endfield, enabling hardware-accelerated ray tracing and higher frame rates.”

Endfield’s inclusion also provided another look at the game’s interface on mobile devices.

Here’s the worm in the apple: The iPhone Air’s product page also mentions Arknights: Endfield, but doesn’t specify a release window for the game, merely stating that it’s “coming to iOS, release date subject to change, see developer website for current release information.”

Arknights fans have been growing impatient about the lack of news in regards to a release date for Endfield this year, which the developers are keenly aware of. While Hypergryph itself hasn’t said or done anything to calm people’s nerves, the confusing information from Apple will at least give the community something to chew on for the moment.
