Smilegate enlists Hololive stars for Chaos Zero Nightmare theme song
By Marco Wutz

Smilegate has revealed that the opening song for its turn-based RPG Chaos Zero Nightmare will be performed by Mori Calliope and Nerissa Ravencroft, two VTuber idols from Hololive. The OP will be called OVER/RIDE and is set to be released on July 18, 2025.
A second gameplay trailer for Chaos Zero Nightmare was published recently, showing off what players can expect from the upcoming gacha game, which is inspired by the likes of Darkest Dungeon, Limbus Company, and Reverse: 1999.
Smilegate is the title’s publisher and is once again working with developer Super Creative — a repeat of the partnership that resulted in Epic Seven.
Chaos Zero Nightmare is a party-based RPG with turn-based combat. Characters’ abilities are represented by decks of cards. The game’s theme and aesthetics are pretty Eldritch and it will feature a sanity mechanic that’s invited the comparisons with Darkest Dungeon.
With the apprentice of death and the demon of sound, Smilegate certainly got the right talents to create the game’s opening theme, of which Mori said “it goes so crazy.”
