Grimlore Games and THQ Nordic can be quite happy with the Early Access launch of Titan Quest 2: More than 300,000 copies of the game have been sold in less than three days.
The action RPG set in Ancient Greece and heavily inspired by the region’s mythology was shadow-dropped on PC via Steam during last week’s THQ Nordic Showcase.
With a peak concurrent user count of more than 27,000 on its first weekend, the game now holds the second-highest CCU record on Steam in the publisher’s history. What’s more, the reviews for the game look rock solid: Over 5,700 users have already left their impressions, providing “Very Positive” reports about the title.
Titan Quest 2 is a game similar to Diablo, Path of Exile, and Last Epoch, though it provides players with a bit more flexibility to customize their characters' abilities — a hallmark of the original game the Munich-based developer has preserved in the sequel.
