Vampire Survivors is getting an official Warhammer spin-off by the Boltgun devs
By Marco Wutz

Auroch Digital revealed that it’s developing a roguelike auto-battler titled Warhammer Survivors in partnership with Vampire Survivors creator Poncle, making the game an official spin-off.
Targeting a release in 2026 on PC, Warhammer Survivors will feature characters from Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar franchises. Malum Caedo, the protagonist from Auroch Digital’s Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, has been confirmed as a playable character alongside Trooper Kozlowski – a Cadian Shock Trooper – and Brother Luca – a Space Marine Intercessor. Neave Blacktalon, Gotrek Gurnisson, and Sharynn Azurwrath join the fray from the fantasy IP. The Tyranids and the Skaven have been confirmed as enemy factions.
Fans can expect the traditional survivors formula of endless enemy hordes, automatic attacks, and tons of different upgrades and weapons to explore across stages inspired by 40k and AoS.
Naturally, all of the equipment, upgrades, and unlockables will be Warhammer-themed as well, including weapons like the Boltgun, Chainsword, Whirlwind Axes, and Citadel Nuln Oil paint — clearly the most potent piece of gear on this list, given that it can make even my miniatures look pretty decent.
You can get a first look at the game in its announcement trailer.
Also coming in 2026 is the sequel to Auroch’s first-person shooter, Boltgun.
