Kuro Games reveals Iuno for Wuthering Waves 2.6
By Marco Wutz

Kuro Games has officially revealed Iuno as a playable character coming to Wuthering Waves in Version 2.6. She’s another 5-Star Resonator and one of Septimont’s foremost priestesses. The population regards her as a prodigy thanks to her ability to forecast the future by studying how moonlight changes — but this ability has a darker side as well.
“Blessings can be curses by another name, some may say. And they may be correct, but Iuno is not one to bow to conventions. She strives to bring variation to the constants of fate, the way she brought moonlight to set against daylight,” her official description says.
Another piece of lore says: “She turns all that she saw and sees into a throwable object — the Moon Arrow. Through the seasons, the moon moves, sometimes stuck in stasis and always trapped in a cycle... until it's anchored by Iuno and finally given renewal.”

Iuno’s name, just like that of Augusta, is derived from a Roman origin. In Roman mythology, Iuno is the wife of Iupiter, the state’s chief god. Curiously, all of Iuno’s imagery and symbolism seems to be in direct contrast to Augusta — one representing the moon, the other the sun; one is a religious figure, one leads the state; one is associated with water, one with fire, and so on.
Augusta will also join the fray in WuWa 2.6. Whether that contrast will play any role in the story or even their gameplay, we’ll have to wait for the update to be released in a few weeks.
