League of Legends Patch 10.5 is set to change up the bottom lane a bit with some balance changes.

Here are the expected five best bot lane duos in League of Legends Patch 10.5.

5 Best Bot Lane Duos in League of Legends Patch 10.5

1. Miss Fortune and Leona

The all-in focused duo again tops the list of bot lanes on Patch 10.5 with neither champions receiving any targeted nerfs. At level 6, this lane can easily kill any carry that is caught out of position or any jungler who goes for an poorly timed gank.

Each champion scales well into the mid and late game and offers a host of zone control, crowd control, and damage to win team fights. The dynamic duo will continue to be a force to be reckoned with until other AD carries are buffed or either champion receives a significant nerfs.

2. Senna and Nautilus

Senna and Nautilus were a top tier bot lane duo on previous patches, before the nerfs to Senna's Absolution (Passive) took effect on Patch 10.3. Although, players have devised a way to go around the nerf which FlyQuest demonstrated in its most recent game against Dignitas in the LCS.

Nautilus took nearly all the CS in the early game with Senna using Spectral Sickle to get gold from harassing the enemy AD carry and support. Nautilus itemized into ability power early with Hextech Protobelt while Senna began building her normal damage items and taking more CS as the game went on. A duo with that much kill pressure and late game zoning helps a team secure major objectives and siege towers with ease.

3. Aphelios and Thresh

After Aphelios saw another round of nerfs in Patch 10.4, his strength in the bottom late started to fade, but he still remains one of the better options on Patch 10.5. The key is pairing Aphelios with an aggressive support that can also peel enemies away from the AD carry.

Thresh offers exactly what Aphelios needs, with the ability to use Dark Passage (W) get Aphelios to safety and Flay (E) to keep enemies away. He can also set up easy kills and picks with Death Sentence (Q) and The Box (R) to get Aphelios ahead early and secure advantages for his team around major objectives.

4. Kalista and Taric

Another LCS bot lane, Kalista and Taric, make the list after giving a performance that shocked even the casters in Team Liquid's game against 100 Thieves on Feb. 29. Kalista and Taric have great synergy after level 6, with Kalista able to throw Taric into the enemy duo to get a knock up and secure an easy Dazzle (E) stun from Taric.

Taric also provides a lot of utility for his team individually. The invulnerability given by Cosmic Radiance (R) can entirely disengage a fight or give his team the extra boost they need ace the enemy. His massive healing through Starlight's Touch (Q) and shielding through Bastion (W) can help keep his carries or front line alive in extended team fights.

5. Ezreal and Braum

Ezreal and Braum have been a standard combination since Season 9, due to Ezreal's ability to generate stacks of Braum's Concussive Blows (Passive) with his Mystic Shots (Q). Braum is a champion that can both engage and disengage a fight with Glacial Fissure (R) and Unbreakable (E) and provides a fair bit of safety and utility to his team's carries.

Ezreal, when played well, is difficult to engage on and able to deal massive amounts of damage from relative safety. He's a menace around major objectives like Elder Drake and Baron Nashor due to the amount of damage he's able to do from over the walls of the pit. But, Ezreal is a skill intensive champion. If you can't consistently land or dodge skill shots, then it's probably best to avoid the champion in ranked games.
