League of Legends upcoming patch 11.9 is going to see a lot of action in the tank role. The new Death's Dance buff will be giving players the additional damage needed to become a powerful adversary for enemy champions. But with the current status of tank items in the game there'll be more than just damage dealers sitting on the top of the list.

League of Legends Patch 11.9 is going to see a lot of action in the tank role. The new Death's Dance buff will be giving players the additional damage needed to become a powerful adversary for enemy champions. But with the current status of tank items in the game, there'll be more than just damage dealers sitting on the top of the list.

Here's a list of the five best top laners in League of Legends Patch 11.9.

5 Best Top Laners in League of Legends Patch 11.9

Camille

Thanks to the new buff to Death's Dance and the previous buff to Trinity Force, Camille is back in her spot as one of the most powerful top laners in the game. Her damage will be absolutely ridiculous, there's nothing that the enemy team will be able to stop her from absolutely decimating the back line.

Wukong

This champion was already on the top of the list last patch and that doesn't look to be changing in 11.9 either. Wukong will be a benefit from the Death's Dance buff but it's not like he wasn't already ridiculously strong already, this is somewhat overkill. He's tanky, does big damage, has multiple gap closers, and is an absolute terror in the top lane.

Kled

Kled makes his return to the rift in top form thanks to the recent buff to the Immolate damage on Sunfire Aegis and the new buff to Death's Dance coming in 11.9. He was always tanky but didn't have the damage to make him a viable pick amongst the rest of the field, we'll be seeing a whole lot more of him going forward.

Ornn

The recent tank item buffs have set the table for this moment, Ornn will be a monster in 11.9. His passive will make him extremely hard to deal with in the early game and by the late game he'll be too tanky to kill solo. The Sunfire Aegis buff really set him over the top and now he'll be one of the best picks in lane.

Nocturne

Nocturne mains are going to love the buffs coming in 11.9. The Death's Dance buff gives him more damage and the Witt's End buff will be beneficial in triggering your passive because of the added attack speed.
