League of Legends Patch 11.17 is set to release on Wednesday, Aug. 25. Changes that are slated to come with the patch have slowly trickled onto the PBE. With that being said, here are five changes we don't want in League of Legends Patch 11.17.

5 Things We Don't Want in League of Legends Patch 11.17

1. Lucian's Exit from Mid Lane

While maybe controversial, mid lane Lucian provides balance to the game by providing a way for players to aggressively punish scaling mages. The changes to Lucian in Patch 11.17 push much of his power to the bottom lane where he deserves a role as well. Hopefully this doesn't mean Lucian will become unviable in the mid lane.

2. Akshan Nerfs

Akshan has stayed underwhelming, holding bottom tier win rates since he has been released. The current PBE has a set of changes to Akshan including a nerf to his Heroic Swing (E). Hopefully in return we see some buffs so that Akshan can see his full potential.

3. A Sad Mummy

Amumu is receiving possibly one of his biggest changes ever in Patch 11.17 with his Bandage Toss (Q) moving from one time use to two charges. This should increase his ability to gank and engage, however in return they are nerfing his damage across his kit. Hopefully these changes make him stronger as intended instead of making the sad mummy even worst.

4. Fleet Footwork Fever

Traditionally, Fleet Footwork has been a strong choice for ranged champions to stay competitive in rough match ups. The rune is seeing drastic change in Patch 11.17 with nerfs to it's healing for ranged champions but buffs for melee champions. We'll have to wait and see how popular it becomes for melee champions, but champions like Kassadin may become a bit too strong with these changes.

5. Tahm Kench Hopping Out

Tahm Kench is receiving another nerf after a long period of dominance in the top lane after the previous big changes to his kit. The toad currently sits in a pretty balanced spot, and we hope that these nerfs don't push him out of play.
