Apex Legends might be super stale right now, but you will not want to get banned before Season 18 launches next month.

Despite a new Firing Range, Legend, and two Collection Events in July, less and less people are playing Apex Legends. Season 17's Ranked system changes have ruined the competitive integrity of the game by rewarding players for simply staying alive without dealing damage or hunting kills. In fact, over 20% of Apex Legends players are now in Masters, the highest in the game's history.

Even though frustration is high, you will want to avoid committing certain acts that will get yourself banned in Apex Legends.

5 Ways to Get Yourself Banned in Apex Legends

There are a handful of ways to get banned in Apex Legends. Here's five things not to do in Apex Legends if you wish to keep your account.

  1. Cheat
  2. Make false claims
  3. Participate in hateful conduct
  4. Intentionally party up with cheaters
  5. Abuse glitches or bugs

The list is pretty straight-forward, but Respawn Entertainment has recently shown they are not messing around. Just a few months ago, over 3,000 players were banned from Apex Legends for violating the game's code of conduct.

Make sure you stay away from known cheaters and hackers, and leave glitches alone until they are patched. Plus, it goes without saying, but any harassment or blatantly false claims have no place in gaming, and will put your account in jeopardy.
