League of Legends Patch 10.14 targeted multiple junglers affecting the meta for the next two weeks.

The current meta puts a premium on objective control and gank potential in the jungle. Lanes snowball incredibly fast and a good jungler can help to make sure his lanes are always in a winning position.

Our picks for this list will typically rely too much help from teammates, struggle to contest objectives, or have too low gank potential to justify being a solo queue jungle pick for Patch 10.14. Lets take a look at which junglers you should avoid picking whenever possible.

5 Worst Junglers in League of Legends Patch 10.14

Sylas

Sylas is good in the mid lane at the moment, but there are a few issues that prevent him from being an effective jungler. First, his ganks are easily avoided unless you have pushed the wave under the enemy tower. His only source of engage comes from Abscond/Abduct (E) which can easily be avoided if there is a minion wave.

Second, Sylas steals enemy ultimates instead of having one of his own. Stealing an enemy's ultimate requires that you be close to them -- something that junglers tend to avoid when they aren't ganking. In the event Sylas gets surprised in his jungle, there is a decent likelihood that he does not have an ultimate ready and can be completely unprepared.

Qiyana

Qiyana finds herself on this list for many of the same reasons Sylas does. She has a stun, but it requires her to be fairly close to her target. Qiyana is also easily to kill and doesn't have a great clear. This makes it hard for her to keep up with some of League of Legends more efficient junglers such as Warwick or Volibear. Additionally, she struggles to solo objectives at low level which can be immensely important in solo queue games. Qiyana should be relegated to the mid lane where she finds more success.

Sett

Sett has gone down hill since his latest round of nerfs and is a far cry from the 1-vs-5 specialist he once was. Sett still has niche picks in the top lane against fellow brawlers, but struggles against any tank who can stun him. He has weak gank potential as both Facebreaker (E) and The Show Stopper (R) require you to be close to the target to land.

Sett now loses matchups he used to win which damages his ability to contest objectives or harass the enemy jungler. Instead of Sett jungle, give Volibear or Kayn a try as they are great duelists who have superior clear speed and gank potential.

Twitch

When the meta allows for it, Twitch jungle is a fun and impact pick. Twitch has a pretty weak early game and cannot solo any objectives at low level. Games can snowball fast even before level six and Twitch's weak early game prevents him from having a real impact until later in the game. The pick might make sense in the event that your top, mid and support all lock in tanks while your bot laner selects a mage. For the 99.9% of games where that isn't the case, there are other picks that make more sense in the jungle.

Skarner

Skarner is one of League of Legends' oldest champions and should be in line for a rework down the line. Skarner is a crowd control based tank who can drag his enemies out of team fights. While Skarner has some uses and can still be played effectively in Patch 10.14, there are better picks available. As League of Legends evolves, newer champions have increasingly more powerful kits. Skarner can stun enemies, but Volibear can stun enemies and disable turrets.
