7 Rarest Gliders in Fortnite

As Fortnite continues to add new items to the shop, here are the seven rarest gliders in Fortnite. Gliders can often be overlooked, but a glider is necessary for anybody that wants to play the game. Literally. The only way to get off the bus is to glide down, so having a unique glider is necessary.

Over the seasons, new gliders are always being added or taken away. As gliders are removed, they become rarer. Here’s the list of the seven rarest gliders.

1. Snowflake Umbrella

The snowflake umbrella comes in as the rarest glider on Fortnite. This one wins the top spot because not only did it come out in Season 2, making it very old, but you also couldn’t even buy it from the shop. The only way to get this was to win a match, making it even harder to get it.

2. Aerial Assault One

This glider is basically a dinosaur. It came out in the very first season of Fortnite, and has yet to make a return since. Along with that, it cost 500 V Bucks to purchase. While that may not seem like a lot now, in Season 1, purchasing V Bucks was not very common.

3. Double Helix

In order to get the Double Helix, you had to purchase the Nintendo Switch bundle. This means that you could only get this glider if you went out to spend hundreds of dollars on a Switch. Since this bundle set is now sold out, it’s impossible to get it.

4. Rainbow Glider

This glider came as part of a set with one of the most popular skins in the game, the Rainbow skin. Despite how popular the skins were, the glider wasn’t as much. It came out in Season 3 and has yet to make a return to the game, making it a rare find.

5. Rhinestone Rider

The Rhinestone Rider dates all the way back to 2018. The glider wasn’t a hit, but its unique look did capture the attention of fans. It was only available for two days, so if you didn’t play the game those two days you missed out. You would be lucky to ever see this glider in-game.

6. Mako

This glider is rare simply because of how old it is. This one dates all the way back to Season 1, and it was free! Free gliders don’t come around anymore, so the fact that this one was free and dates back to Season 1 makes it extremely rare.

7. Sir Glider the Brave

No, this glider isn't rare simply because of its unique name. This one came out in Season 2 of Fortnite, and was also free. However, you had to reach a tier 35 to unlock it. Back in Season 2, it was hard to find somebody dedicated to the game. That makes this a very rare glider.

Gliders will keep being added to the game, but it takes time for gliders to become as rare as these.
