The Animal Crossing January flowers have arrived and are available for players to purchase from Nook's Cranny on their islands.

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Nook's Cranny will sell flower seeds depending on the current month from the real-time clock—aside from the island's native and sister flowers set at island creation. Here are the new flower seeds available for purchase at the start of the new year.

Animal Crossing January Flowers: What's New

There is one new flower seed and two returning flower seeds available in January for those in the Northern Hemisphere. For those in the Southern Hemisphere, there is also one new flower seed and two returning flower seeds available to begin 2021.

Here are the three species of flower seeds up for sale at Nook's Cranny during the month of January in the Northern Hemisphere.

  • Pansy
  • Windflower
  • Mum

Here are the three species of flower seeds up for sale at Nook's Cranny during the month of January in the Southern Hemisphere.

  • Rose
  • Cosmos
  • Lily

In addition to being used for decoration, flowers can also be used in DIY recipes, to attract certain types of bugs that don’t usually spawn, and raise an island’s star rating.
