Apex Legends Leaks Show Promotional Images Revealing Information About Bloodhound's Town Takeover
By Jack Cohen
New Apex Legends leaks uncovered Sunday new information about the location of Bloodhound's Town Takeover going live tomorrow until April 21 as the Old Ways Lore Event begins.
A number of promotional images were found by iLootGames' data mining team and Shrugtal showing what the community believes to be our final look at the Prowlers — confirming earlier suspicions — as well as our first look at what Shrugtal believes to be a massive raven statue appearing in the physical game.
These new Prowlers are a part of Bloodhound's Trials where you and your squad have the opportunity to fight packs of these beasts to find high-tier loot as your reward. The catch? Any other squad entering the northwest quadrant of the map will be there to end your match and take the loot for themselves.
Another find by Shrugtal shows what seems to be a birdlike figure on the side of Sniper's Ridge. Speculation has it that the Raven statue seen before might be the entrance to a cave that the Prowler hoard will be defending. It seems a fitting challenge given Bloodhound's recently released lore showing a community that sends its young off on a hunt to prove themselves. Once they're defeated, entering the cave will reward you with everything you need to be the final squad standing.
What else is the Old Ways Event bringing to Apex Legends?
All of us, not just Bloodhound mains, have a lot to look forward to with the arrival of this event. We will see the much awaited arrival of Duos and a permanent map rotation. Also, an all-new prize track with daily changes is being added as well as a direct purchase shop (schedule seen below).
Although the event prize track and limited edition cosmetics are only available for the duration of the event, Duos and the choice between Kings Canyon and Worlds Edge isn't going anywhere. With the success of the past few Town Takeovers, I'd be very surprised if this one wasn't just as exciting.
