Apex Legends Revenant counters are importnat to know as they will help you take on the new Season 4 Legend.

Revenant is a new Legend released in the Season 4 Assimilation update. According to his official biography, Revenant was "the greatest hit-man the Mercenary Syndicate ever had," and after death he was resurrected as a simulacrum, "a walking nightmare of steel and vestigial flesh."

As a zombie robot hit-man, Revenant has abilities that allow him to stealth effectively and cheat death. He is not without weakness, and here's how you can counter Revenant's abilities in Apex Legends.

Apex Legends Revenant Counters: How to Counter the Legend

How to Counter Stalker

Revenant's passive ability, Stalker, allows him to move faster while crouched and climb walls faster. Although he moves faster while crouched and will be harder to hit, he will take 5% more damage in this state.

You can use an attack with a larger spread like a shotgun. For normal weapons, if your aim is good, the smaller hitbox won't be much of a problem for you. He has no real mobility skills beside the increased speed, making him vulnerable if you catch him sneaking. It will also help to take a look around you every now and then to spot flanking Revenants.

How to Counter Silence

His tactical ability, Silence, is a grenade that disables enemy skills for 10 seconds as well as dealing damage. This can be used to shut down the abilities of an entire squad, or to ensure Revenant can pick off anyone separated from their team. Being mindful of your position will help.

If you are able to split off from your team when Silence is thrown, at least someone will still have their abilities active. If you're by yourself, it might be useful to bait the Silence first and then engage during its lengthy 25 second cool down.

How to Counter Death Totem

The ultimate ability, Death Totem, allows Revenant to return to where he placed the totem if he dies. It only works once, and Revenant will return with only one health. The Revenant player will most likely hide the Death Totem somewhere hidden where most players won't look. Because he will only have one health, Revenant must use a health pack. Camping the totem lets your pick him off as he comes back, but you can also use Caustic's gas trap. The toxin will kill Revenant right as he returns.
