Apex Legends Unable to Connect Code 100: How to Fix
By Jack O'Dwyer

Apex Legends Unable to Connect Code 100 is a pesky bug plaguing players.
A new darkness threatens to ruin the entertainment of Apex Legends players all over. Despite the game's popularity, there is no solid way to prevent against errors after a crucial update. Players have been reporting an Error Code 100 disrupting their ability to connect to the game ever since its last title update in early February.
Have you encountered this problem? Here's everything you need to do to fix it.
Apex Legends Unable to Connect Code 100: How to Fix
It goes without saying that this is a connectivity issue. Something is stopping your device from reaching the Apex servers properly. While its more likely that this is an issue with Respawn and EA rather than thousands of individual players, it doesn't hurt to go through your own check-list.
Obviously, if the servers aren't up to begin with, you'll only end up frustrating yourself trying to troubleshoot. Your first step should be to check if the servers on the company's side are down—which you can do by checking official sources such as the Apex Twitter account.
Your next best bet would be to check your own connection. Most devices have a way to troubleshoot your wi-fi automatically and let you know if there's something going on. The old "turn it off and on again" trick can also solve a good portion of connectivity errors.
If both of these are solid, then there isn't much you can do besides wait. Respawn and EA are no doubt already working on a solution with the sheer amount of players complaining about this issue.
Changing Your Domain Name System (DNS)
There is one unconfirmed route to fix Apex Legend's Error Code 100. It involves getting a bit technical, but is available on all devices. Some players are reporting success connecting to the servers after changing their DNS addresses.
The method for changing your DNS varies among platforms. Regardless, your Primary DNS should be set to "8.8.8.8" and your Secondary should be "8.8.4.4" to achieve the desired result. This isn't endorsed by either company as a permanent fix and therefore is not recommended.
