Apex Legends is one of the most character-driven battle royales currently available. Lacking a story-driven campaign mode, developer Respawn Entertainment employs a variety of other methods to expand upon the personalities and storylines of their characters. Character-specific heirlooms, quips, and interactions are just a few of the ways Apex brings its 12 legends to life.

Most recently, players have learned about the Apex Legends universe through the Season Five "Broken Ghost" in-game quest lines. "Broken Ghost" is a series of player-vs-enemy missions that culminate with cutscenes filling in the story. Apex Legends has utilized events like this to provide more depth for its legends' stories.

Anita "Bangalore" Williams is one legend that players still don't know much about. The former military weapons expert, armed with a smoke launcher and a passive ability that increases her run speed while being shot at, has been a fan-favorite since launch. Because of this, fans are eager to learn more about Bangalore's story.

In response to a fan request asking for more "banga-lore" on Twitter, Respawn writer Tom Casiello asked, "now do you think we'd put our girl front and center, only to just drop her in Season Six?" Casiello continues, "that tough 'not here to make friends' facade is just starting to crack. She's letting her guard down a little, and that means her journey's just getting started!"

Bangalore fans can get excited to learn more about their favorite hero in Season Six. Perhaps Bangalore's central focus will have something to do with Titanfall 2 antagonist, Ash. Ash's return has been hinted at in "Broken Ghost" and, like Bangalore, Ash is a former member of the IMC. For now, Apex Legends players can look forward to the conclusion of "Broken Ghost" on Wednesday, Jul. 15.
