Riot Games has decided to add another skin to the Ashen Knight skin line in League of Legends, as they are set to release an Ashen Guardian Shen skin.

The last Shen skin that was released was in late 2020 via the PsyOps skin set, so it will be nearly three years since Shen has received new cosmetics.

The Ashen Guardian Shen skin is currently available on the Public Beta Environment (PBE) and will be released to live servers soon.

Riot Points (RP) is the usual currency for new League of Legends skins, but Ashen Guardian Shen is an exception. This skin will only be available in the Mythic Essence Shop, and it will cost 100 Mythic Essence to acquire.

Ashen Guardian Shen Skin Release Date

The Ashen Guardian Shen skin will be released one day after Patch 13.6 releases on Mar. 22. Therefore, players can purchase this skin upon its release on Mar. 23.

Ashen Guardian Shen Skin How to Get

Unlike most League of Legends skins, the only way players can get the new Shen skin is to purchase it via the Mythic Essence Shop. It is important to note that this shop rotates its contents, so the new Shen skin will only be there for a limited time.
