Ubisoft is offering the "Godly Reward" pack as a token of gratitude toward everyone who helped "shape [the game]m for all players!" The pack is completely free and displayed in the Featured section of the Assassin's Creed: Valhalla Animus store. Once bought, players will receive the outfit of the very first franchise protagonist, Altaïr, all rewards from last year's Yule Festival, and 300 Opals.

Unfortunately, some players are having difficulty claiming their gift.

When attempting to claim the pack, some players are being a thrown a [0x70000d03] error message, stating they already have the "maximum amount" for that item. Obviously, this is impossible, as the pack only just came out and players are getting the message on their first try.

Even more peculiar are the glitches that have shown up in-game following a successful purchase. Multiple players report a full settlement, gear, and skill resets as if players had never improved their items or advanced Ravensthorpe. Some are returning to the play screen only to have their save files corrupted.

It goes without saying that this situation is frustrating. Many have voiced outrage over Ubisoft using their paying player base as free quality control while others are concerned about losing hours of progress.

Currently, there is no official known fix for this issue. The majority of reports indicate success when refreshing the game or reloading an older save. Verifying and running a repair on the files also appears to fix corrupted data. However, this hasn't worked for everyone.

Ubisoft has alerted players that it is aware of the error and has committed to keeping everyone updated as it investigates.
