Assassin's Creed Valhalla raiding is a new feature that will allow players to place their teams against other groups such as churches or armies.

Valhalla is the first new Assassin's Creed game since Odyssey which was released in 2018. The game is set to be in the Viking age with many new features set to be introduced in the game. This includes the return of the hidden blade, more player customization options, and raiding.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Raiding Features

Raiding is a new feature set to be introduced in Assassin's Creed Valhalla to change an aspect of combat that use to be a more 1-v-1 style. Raiding will focus on more of a team style death-match that pins the player's army against another.

Valhalla's official website introduced raiding with a short description before it was seen in a little clip during the gameplay reveal.

The official website describes the new feature as, "lead your people in massive assaults against Saxon armies and fortresses, and expand your influence far beyond your settlement’s borders. Command a crew of raiders and launch lightning-fast surprise attacks from your longship to claim your enemies’ riches for your clan."

Raiding is seen in the gameplay reveal as a bunch of warriors running towards the camera but players will still have the option to stealthily sneak around and take down opponents one by one. Players can expect a more tactical aspect of the game with raiding to decide how they want to tackle another army or church.

More information is to be released with Ubisoft still to showcase the entire raiding system. Players are excited about this new feature as the game will also feature a new settlement system in which the player will develop their own town and army.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is set to be released on Nov. 17 on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation4, and Stadia. PC users will have to purchase the game from either the Epic Games or Ubisoft store as there has not been a Steam released announced as of writing.
