Best Sniper Rifles for Warzone 2

Activision

Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is finally here, which means that now is perhaps the most exciting time to play considering players are still trying to figure out what the best sniper rifles are.

Just like with the original Warzone, sniper rifles will likely play a key part in the meta on Al Mazrah, as many players will simply want to tap heads and go about their business. Here's a breakdown of the best sniper rifles to use early on in Warzone 2.

Best Sniper Rifles for Warzone 2

3. Victus XMR

Kicking things off is the new guy on the block, the Victus XMR. As described by Infinity Ward, the Victus XMR is now the longest-range sniper rifle in the game, which should be perfect for those who like sniping from bolder distances.

  • Barrel: Mack 8 21.5 Short
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
  • Optic: SP-X 80 6.6x
  • Stock: XRK Rise 50
  • Rear Grip: Bruen Q900 Grip

2. SP-X 80

Up next is the XP-X 80, which is the fastest of the actual sniper rifles in the game. Unfortunately, it does not appear that you can't one-shot players in the head at all if they have three plates, which is especially felt with the lighter snipers.

  • Muzzle: FTAC Reaper
  • Ammunition: .300 High Velocity
  • Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
  • Stock: PVZ-890 Tac Stock
  • Rear Grip: Schlager Match Grip

1. MCPR-300

Lastly is the MCPR-300, which has established itself as the early favorite for the best sniper in Warzone. The MCPR-300 is simply the hardest-hitting sniper in the game, which, goes a long way it seems at the moment as sniping, in general, is harder in Warzone 2 due to all of them having significantly less bullet velocity than they did in the original Warzone.

  • Muzzle: FTAC Reaper
  • Barrel: 22" OMX-456
  • Ammunition: .300 High Velocity
  • Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
  • Rear Grip: Cronen Cheetah Grip
