The trailer has dropped for Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5, which means we can finally confirm some leaks and suspicions.

The video officially went live on Activision's Call of Duty social media accounts in the mid-afternoon on Tuesday, Aug. 3. In it, fans were able to see the brand new operator known as "Kitsune," previously leaked late last week, activating a broadcast that helped her escape capture at the very last moment. When the broadcast launched, sleeper agents within the squad awoke, and turned on the rest while Kitsune watched from a distance.

Of course, a new operator is all to look forward to in Season 5.

Operator "Kitsune" and Tec-9 Pistol in Warzone Season 5

There's not much to say about Kitsune for the time being. Due to the combination of her name and the style of her tattoo sleeves, we can guess that she is likely Japanese.

Kitsune are mythical fox creatures in Japanese folklore often bearing more than one tail. They are known for their intelligence—which increases as they get older, along with their number of tails—as well as their magical abilities such as shapeshifting into humans.

Her sleeves look identical in her official promo images and their style invokes the aesthetic of a traditional Japanese irezumi tattoo. The "mikiri"—or border of the tattoo that gives way to clean skin—is shaped in curves or waves known as "botan-giri" and is meant to resemble clouds, waves, and/or the petals of a peony flower.

She is seen dual-wielding what some sharp-eyed fans clocked as the Tec-9. This semi-automatic pistol is best known for its performance in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO). Activision seems to be angling to echo its notoriety in Warzone, which is a point of concern for some, but we won't know how the developers plan on handling it until its release.

Warzone Season 5 hits the live servers on Aug. 12.
