Ahead of the next Call of Duty League season, we compiled a CDL 2024 GA Tracker to keep up with the latest weapons and items GA'ed in competitive Call of Duty.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 arrived with 114 weapons for players to test out in the new title. The weapon pool consists of both new additions and former guns from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Very quickly, the game's most overpowered weapons became quite obvious, shaping up the meta for the casual and competitive Call of Duty scene.
To keep the game as competitive as possible, the professional Call of Duty players must GA certain weapons, attachments, ammunition, and more. Even with the first match of the 2024 season less than two weeks away, the pros are still working out the full list of GAs.
CDL 2024 GAs Explained
In the CDL, the term "GA" stands for Gentlemen's Agreement. The current professional Call of Duty players come together and agree on what can and cannot be used in the CDL. Each of the 12 CDL teams gets one vote to have their opinion heard on whether a particular gun, Tactical, Lethal, etc. should be allowed in competitive play.
The GA system is far from perfect, but it governs the CDL as the players try to make the game as competitive and fair as possible.
To keep the game fresh for MW3, all MW2 weapons were immediately banned from CDL 2024, along with all Battle Rifles, Shotguns, Marksman Rifles, LMGs, and Launchers. Then, the pros turned their attention to all the remaining items and weapons in MW3.
