In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, trainers are able to encounter and catch over 100 generation nine Pokémon. Dondozo is one of the new Water-types of this generation, lurking in the lakes of Paldea Region. This big catfish Pokémon is also one of the Five Titans trainers must defeat in the Path of Legends storyline, so here is everything you need to know about Dondozo.

Dondozo Evolution: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

As of now, Dondozo does not have any evolutions. However, it is commonly seen teaming up with Tatsugiri, the Mimicry Pokémon. When challenging this Titan Pokémon with its companion in battle, this duo can prove to be difficult to take down.

When Tatsugiri and Dondozo are together in a double battle, Tatsugiri will hop into Dondozo’s mouth. It will then protect Tatsugiri until faints, so trainers first need to take down Dondozo before battling Tatsugiri.

Tatsugiri has three different forms that help Dondozo in battle. Not able to attack itself, Tatsugiri will give Dondozo a +2 omni-boost and additional stat boosts when Dondozo uses its ‘Order Up’ move. The stat boost Dondozo receives is based on which form Tatsugiri is.

Dondozo Stats: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Dondozo has considerably high base stats, whose power is maximized when teaming up with Tatsugiri: 150 HP, 100 ATK, 115 DEF, 65 SP. ATK, 65 SP. DEF, and 35 SPD.

Dondozo Location: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Like Tatsugiri, Dondozo is found only in the Casseroya Lake. This is also where you'll be able challenge it as a Titan.
