In Dying Light 2 Stay Human, understanding the crafting system is the key to repurposing scavenged Craft Parts found along the way into Blueprints and, ultimately, generating brand-new Accessories, Consumables and Weapon Modifications.

From Medicine and Lockpicks to Remote C4s and elemental Resistance Boosters, here's a breakdown of the Crafting system and Blueprints in Dying Light 2 Stay Human.

Minutes into the game, during the prologue, players are instructed to collect Honey and Chamomile in order to craft Medicine using the Medicine Blueprint.

This is pretty much the fundamental basics of crafting in Dying Light 2 — obtaining a Blueprint, collecting the necessary Craft Parts and combining the two to Craft an Accessory, Consumable or Weapon Modification.

Blueprints can be earned by completing Quests, purchasing them from Craftmasters, taking over Bandit Camps, and leveling up within Factions.

Additionally, Craftmasters can also upgrade your owned Blueprints to generate stronger Accessories, Consumables and Weapon Modifications.

In the case of Medicine, there are nine Upgrade Levels to be had, which likely boosts the amount the medicine heals, shortens the time taken to apply it and increases the amount crafted each time.

Upgrading Blueprints through Craftmasters requires you to fork over scavenged Infected Trophies that can be looted off of special zombies, other uncommon materials (e.g. Military Tech) and money.

Speaking of scavenging, gathering the necessary Craft Parts is mostly done by searching abandoned containers and fallen individuals, especially in Roof Groves and Dark Zones. Both Merchants and Craftmasters do sell an array of resources as well, however, if there's something you urgently need.

Ultimately, obtaining Accessories, Consumables and Weapon Modifications is a fundamental part of surviving and thriving in Dying Light 2, so be sure to incorporate Crafting in your playthrough.
