We’ve put together a guide for Warzone players looking to reap the benefits from the newly added armored trucks roaming the map.

As teased in leaks passed, Activision has brought armored trucks to Call of Duty (COD): Warzone. Now, players have the opportunity to track, hunt, and destroy these slow-moving targets for major rewards. Rewards for blasting apart an armored truck include cash, kill streaks, armor satchels, field upgrades, and the Nebula 5 bomb.

We’ve laid out both how to find them and how to destroy them, below.

Here’s everything you need to know about Armored Trucks in Warzone.

Where to Find Armored Trucks in Warzone

Armored Trucks can spawn in the following locations on the Pacific Caldera map:

  • Beachhead
  • Lagoon
  • Capital
  • Mines
  • Resort
  • Fields
  • Docks

Players should be able to pick them out from the map by looking for the slow-moving red marker traveling along the roads. Due to the weight the trucks are carrying, they don’t move very fast and are therefore easy to catch up to.

They also move on a set rotational path until destroyed so players who couldn’t catch them on their first drive should be able to do it on the second go-around—barring any other interruptions.

How to Destroy Armored Trucks in Warzone

Obviously, since these vehicles are “armored,” players will need a lot of fire power to crack them open. This can be done in two ways: on foot using high-powered artillery or using another vehicle.

Examples of strong weapons include:

  • M1 Bazooka
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Panzerschrek
  • Anti-Tank Rifle

Players may be able to equip their normal weapon with armor-piercing rounds, as well—though it should take quite a bit longer if they aren’t designed for this style of combat. They may also find it easier to hurl explosives at it.

They may also be able to jump into another vehicle and either chase down or rain down on the armored truck—using a bomber plane or something similar.
