Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 has been delayed. Typically, a new Fortnite Season drops around 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. ET, but this time, Epic Games announced they "encountered an unexpected issue" during their maintenance. As a result, the current downtime has been extended.

Epic Games continued, "We apologize for making everyone wait longer than usual to drop into Chapter 5 Season 2 of Battle Royale. The team is working through this as quickly as possible, and we’ll provide another update when we have more info."
