Fortnite World Cup: Everything You Need to Know

Fortnite World Cup is finally here! This is a three day event loaded with matches, head-to-head categories, and extra outside fun that Epic has planned to blow your mind.

Fortunately, even if you didn't get a chance to land a ticket to the physical showdown, you'll still be able to watch all the matches you're interested in on Fortnite's official Twitch account and in-game with the new Picture-in-Picture (PiP) Streaming.

Fornite World Cup: Everything You Need to Know

The event kicks off tomorrow, July 26, at 9:30 a.m ET with the Fan Festival taking place in New York City. It's a mini-theme park with attractions inspired by your favorite in-game activities such as a zipline, "rocket" rides, dancing, and more. There are various food vendors featuring different hallmarks of the game, as well. This part of the event is open every day for your enjoyment until its doors close around 7-8 p.m. ET.

Fornite World Cup: Creative Finals

The stadium doors open at 11:30 a.m. ET and, after a short pre-show, the Creative Finals start at 1 p.m. Eight teams of four go head-to-head competing for a $3 million cash prize. The teams are:

  • Raven's Revenge : Gotaga, SAMSUNG art1er, Code MagMa, Chappy
  • Llama Record Co. : HandOfBlood, Svennoss, Rogue AlexJJ, SAMSUNG carnifex
  • Sunshine Soldiers : DanyanCat, Atchiin, 4Turtle, Code 0000
  • Whip It Warriors : Tomoya, Draceus_, Huizhi, Koutox

  • Fornite World Cup: Celebrity Pro-Am

    The Pro-Am game starts at 4 p.m., after the Creative Finals, and features fifty pairs of one pro-gamer and one celebrity battling for an almighty $3 million prize pool to a charity of their choice.

    A few interesting pairs from this category are Airwaks and RL Grime, Exile and Ashely Rickards, Wildcat and David Williams, and Ninja and Marshmellow who will be returning to defend their title.

    Fornite World Cup: Duos Finals

    The Duos Finals take place on day two at 1 p.m. ET with their Winners Ceremony at 4:45 p.m. 50 pairs of players, coupled both in and out of clan, will fight to prove who the best duo in Fortnite truly is this year.

    Some team-ups you'll see in this event include Warriors CoverH and Warriors Twizz, CR.bell btw and Scаrlёt, NRG benjуfishу and NRG MrSavageM, FaZe Mongraal. and mitr0, E11 Tschiiinken and E11 Stompy, Lootboy Mexe and Lootboy Skram, Gambit.fwexY and Gambit.letw1k3, COOLER Nyhrox and COOLER aqua, and wisheydp and GusTavox8.

    Fornite World Cup: Solos Finals

    The Solos Finals take place on day three at 1 p.m ET with their Winners Ceremony at 4:45 p.m. 100 finalists, comprised of the best players from six regions, will compete in a free-for-all arena to take the top spot as the single best solo player this year.
