Players are trying to obtain a Frozen Tear in Stardew Valley.

Frozen Tears can be used for many different reasons throughout the game. As you advance through Stardew Valley, you'll find some bundles to complete in the Community Center. In the Boiler Room is the Geologist's Bundle, where the Frozen Tear can be turned in. In addition to this, it can be given as a gift to Villagers throughout the game. Sebastian loves this gift, so you can use it to strengthen your bond with him. Be careful, though, as characters like Leah, Linus, and Pierre all dislike Frozen Tears. You may also need it to tailor a Dark Jacket or complete some quests.

Regardless of your intention, a Frozen Tear can help you get through the game. Here's how to find one.

How to Find a Frozen Tear in Stardew Valley

A Frozen Tear can be found in a variety of ways:

  • Mining between floors 40 and 79 in The Mines
  • Dropped by Dust Sprites in The Mines.
  • After reaching the bottom, it can be in containers throughout floors 40 and 79 in The Mines.
  • Through panning in the streams
  • In Frozen and Omni Geodes
  • From Treasure Chests while Fishing
  • After you have reached the bottom level of The Mines, it can be found in Garbage Cans
  • Once the population of an Ice Pip Fish Pond reaches nine, you can get five Frozen Tears
  • When you reach a friendship level greater than zero with the Wizard
  • On Winter 10, Sebastian’s birthday, it can be found at the Statue of Endless Fortune
