Crystal Marrow is an Inazuma specialty in Genshin Impact found only in certain locations. Not only does it look mesmerizing, but it's also a material used to ascend certain characters, so it's important to know how to gather them.

Crystal Marrow once had very little practical purpose until it became a resource that Sayu uses a ton of for all stages of her level-up Ascension. Here's a guide for where to find every Crystal Marrow ore in Inazuma.

Farming for Crystal Marrow is relatively simple, because they are highly concentrated around the center of Yashiori Island and the west of the Kujou Encampment area on Kannazuka. As standard procedures go for ore items scattered across Teyvat, Crystal Marrow tends to sprout up around rocky outcrops.

Similar to most other ore items, Crystal Marrow takes a couple of days in the real world to respawn. Additionally, there’s no way for travelers to generate their own Crystal yet, so they’ll have to wait for the refresh to gather more.

As mentioned earlier, Sayu uses Crystal Marrow in all stages of her level-up Ascension, with her later phases requiring 40-60 chunks of the ore.

At the time of writing, there is also another use for Crystal Marrow. Some of Inazuma’s world quests require a dozen or more pieces of the ore, such as with Chouji near Jakotsu Mine, whose quest chain unlocks one of Inazuma’s secret achievements.

Keep in mind that future characters might have uses for Crystal Marrow, so it’s worth hanging onto a stack for a while.
