Fans worrying about when LEGO is leaving Fortnite will be relieved after they read Epic Games' latest announcement.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 carried the momentum of Fortnite OG in a big way. Although Epic Games removed the throwback map from the game, they replaced it with a new island that is almost as fun to play. Plus, the addition of weapon mods, a moving train, and movement updates make gameplay feel fresh and exciting.
Just one week into Fortnite Underground, Epic Games also introduced three new modes to the game: LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival. Now, players who want a break from Battle Royale can hop on one of the new options whenever they want. LEGO Fortnite, the most popular of the three, brings Minecraft-inspired gameplay to Fortnite that has the entire gaming community talking.

Fortunately, LEGO is not leaving Fortnite! Fans do not have to worry about the new mode disappearing after only a few weeks like Fortnite OG. Instead, it looks like LEGO Fortnite is here to stay.
Epic Games addressed the community's growing concern and announced on X, "Seeing some chatter around our newly launched games and people worried that they may not stick around. To clarify: these are brand new games entirely—not LTM’s."
The post concluded, "Fear not! LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival are here to stay-with regular updates."
Like Zero Build, all three new modes will remain in Fortnite but exist as separate entities.
Here's When Fortnite OG is Coming Back to Fortnite
Fortnite OG is coming back to Fortnite sometime in 2024. Although Epic Games has not released a concrete date just yet, they confirmed the return of the fan-favorite mode in the new year.
"Ngl the OG season far exceeded our expectations. So much so that we’d like to bring it back… *opens 2024 roadmap doc* In the meantime, see you on the Battle Bus," they posted on X right before the Chapter 4 finale.
The news came as a great surprise to the community who thought they would never get to step foot on the OG map again.
