Players looking to carry three weapons on Urzikstan are going to be disappointed when they play MW3 Warzone for the first time.

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1 revitalized the Battle Royale after an unpopular year of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0. Urzikstan replaced Al Mazrah, bringing a fresh, Verdansk-inspired map to Warzone with horizontal ziplines, a new Gulag, and 11 POIs. Since the map is smaller than Al Mazrah, the player count was decreased to 100, inspiring a faster, more entertaining play style.

Although the changes brought plenty of much-needed additions to Warzone, there were some features of Warzone 2 that players hoped would carry over to the new map, like the ability to carry three weapons.

Here's Why You Can't Carry 3 Weapons Anymore in Warzone

Unfortunately, you can't carry three weapons anymore in Warzone. Ever since the developers removed medium/large backpacks from the Battle Royale, you can no longer store a third, off-meta weapon.

Carrying three weapons was about the only positive of the unfair backpack upgrades, though, so the loss is not too hard to swallow. In fact, Activision and Raven Software worked to improve the backpack system even more in Warzone Season 1 by adding the following changes:

  • Weapons are now right aligned.
  • Ammo is separate in backpack and specific slots will automatically fill as players collect ammo.
  • Displays available Gulag Entry Kits or Redeploy Packs.
  • Gulag Entry Kits can be stowed for teammates.

Although the looting system in the original Warzone is still preferred to backpacks, the new adjustments bring positive changes to looting on Urzikstan.

LEAK: Mule Kick Soda Coming to MW3 Zombies

Although players cannot carry three weapons in Warzone, they allegedly will be able to once Mule Kick Soda arrives in MW3 Zombies. The Perk allows you to hold three primary weapons at once, something that comes in handy when fighting off armies of the undead.

Reliable Call of Duty leaker, MWIIIINTEL, was the first to report Mule Kick Soda's return.
