After months of speculation, fans can finally get their first look at the Rick Grimes Operator coming in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2.

While MW3 and Warzone were still in Season 1, leaks surfaced about a possible collaboration with The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. If there was ever a time to bring The Walking Dead universe and characters to Call of Duty, it would be in February 2024; after all, the spin-off series comes out the same month as the next MW3 and Warzone update. The rumor lost a bit of traction, though, when no confirmation or new details surfaced in the following weeks.

Finally, Activision has confirmed the upcoming Call of Duty x The Walking Dead crossover, and it features an awesome Rick Grimes Operator.

Like previous collaborations in MW3, fans will likely be able to purchase the Rick Grimes Operator from the store for 2,400 COD points. We expect Activision to include corresponding cosmetics, like a Loading Screen, Weapon Charm, and more, as well as a Weapon Blueprint, in the upcoming Bundle.

When is Rick Grimes Coming to MW3 & Warzone?

Rick Grimes is coming to MW3 and Warzone in Season 2, which drops on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024, at 12 p.m. ET. As of now, it is unclear if the Operator will be available for purchase on release day or closer to the premiere of The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live on Feb. 25, 2024.
