How to Bleed Out Slower in Apex Legends

Each time a player goes down in Apex Legends, the bleed out timer is cut in half. This makes it harder for teammates to pick them up. They will have to choose between finishing the fight and risking their own life to pick up a teammate.

There is a new trick that was posted on Reddit and can help relieve some of this time pressure. It completely resets the bleed out timer back to the max of 60 seconds.

There is a way to reset the bleed out timer for players that went down more than once early in the game. Simply suicide and then have a teammate revive you and the bleed out timer will be reset. This is a good strategy for someone playing with a new player when there is no immediate danger.

Other players brought up problems like other players seeing the ship and running over to pick a fight. If there is an unexpected fight before the player is back, their teammates will be at a disadvantage because they are down a player. However, other players are willing to go to great length to save a teammate.
