The Diablo IV Server Slam weekend kicks off in May, and a new reward is up for grabs ahead of launch — the Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy.

Players have another opportunity to try out Diablo IV ahead of its launch on June 6, 2023. Blizzard previously offered two Beta weekends: an Early Access Beta weekend for those who pre-purchased Diablo IV, and an Open Beta weekend for everyone.

The two Betas saw waves of players jumping into Sanctuary, experiencing the five classes that will be available at launch: Barbarian, Sorcerer, Druid, Necromancer and Rogue. Both events have now wrapped up, but there's one more chance to check out Sanctuary before release day during the Server Slam.

There will be a few differences for those hopping into the game this time around. Namely, all of the bug fixes and feedback changes Blizzard received after the first round of Betas as detailed in the Open Beta Retrospective blog. In addition, Blizzard have made it a little bit harder to stumble across Legendary items during the Server Slam, altering the drop rates to be more reflective of what players will experience when the Diablo IV launches.

During the Betas, players who hit certain milestones and checkpoints earned themselves rewards to be used when the game launches. Now, aside from getting another chance to claim these rewards, the Server Slam features the brand new Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy up for grabs.

How to Earn Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy in Diablo IV Server Slam

To earn the Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy during the Diablo IV Server Slam, players will need to defeat the World Boss Ashava, using a Level 20 character.

Level 20 is the max players can level up their characters during the Server Slam and, given that most World Bosses will need to be beaten at a much higher level, players are going to have a hard time taking Ashava down.

The key to winning is to team up with other players across Sanctuary, coming together to put all of your skills to the test.

Ashava will spawn on May 13 starting at 9 a.m. PDT, then every 3 hours after until the final spawn on May 14 at 9 a.m. PDT.

Players can also earn themselves some other rewards during the weekend:

  • Initial Casualty Title: earned by reaching Kyovashad with one character.
  • Early Voyager Title: earned by reaching Level 20 on one character.
  • Beta Wolf Pack Cosmetic Item: earned by reaching Level 20 on one character.

Players who earned the above rewards during the previous Beta weekends will not need to earn them again during the Server Slam.

The Diablo IV Server Slam begins on May 12, 12 p.m. and runs until May 14, 12 p.m. PDT.
