The new Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration requires players to earn Cursed Energy to unlock free rewards.

Fortnite WILDS has been infiltrated by everyone's favorite sorcerers from Jujutsu Kaisen. Not only are Satoru Gojo, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and Yuji Itadori skins available to purchase and unlock, but there are also two new Cursed Techniques that players can wield in-game. Plus, there is a Jujutsu Kaisen Cup open to all players that offers even more free cosmetics.

The crossover also introduced a special Jujutsu Kaisen mini-Battle Pass that includes rewards ranging from skins to Emotes to Back Blings. There is a Free Reward Track and then a Premium Reward Track that costs an additional 1,000 V-Bucks. No matter which track you choose, you will need a currency other than V-Bucks and XP to access the Jujutsu Kaisen cosmetics.

Here's a breakdown of how to earn Cursed Energy in Fortnite.

How to Earn Cursed Energy in Fortnite

Players can only earn Cursed Energy in Fortnite by completing Break the Curse Quests. Each successful quest will grant players a certain amount of Cursed Energy the same way a Daily Quest grants XP. The more Break the Curse Quests you complete, the more Cursed Energy you will earn.

Then, players can head over to the Break the Curse Battle Pass and use their newfound Cursed Energy to unlock the available rewards. Check out the full list of free cosmetics in the mini-Battle Pass here.

Those looking to unlock every available reward in the Break the Curse Battle Pass will need to earn a total of 11,000 Cursed Energy. Fortunately, there will be a total of five waves of quests releasing throughout the month of August that gives fans plenty of opportunities to rack up their Cursed Energy.
