How to find Madness Ore in Skyrim is something that many are wondering about at the moment now that the open-world action RPG's Anniversary Edition is out, bringing with it over 500 Creation Club elements to those playing the Special Edition as well.

Skyrim is back with a new edition for the game's 10th anniversary. This time, the game has added a bunch of new content, including a whole load of features courtesy of the Creation Club. Here's a breakdown of how to find Madness Ore in Skyrim.

How to Find Madness Ore in Skyrim

Madness Ore is a flexible, brown metal that was added to the game courtesy of the Saints & Seducers Creation.

The TL;DR on that DLC is that it revolves around the machinations of a manic mage who has weakened the barriers between the Shivering Isles and Tamriel, allowing madness to seep through. As such, the Saints & Seducers Creation adds new summons, enemies, alchemy ingredients, a dungeon, recruitable pets, two artifacts, four craftable armor and weapon sets, a quest and several side quests all themed around the Shivering Isles.

Madness Ore may actually sound familiar as well to those who played The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Shivering Isles expansion.

Ultimately, Madness Ore is very rare to find, and is used to create high-tier weapons and armor.

Madness Ore can occasionally be found in dungeon boss chests, but the most consistent way to obtain the crafting material is by acquiring it from Khajiit traders after advancing far enough in the Saints and Seducers questline and receiving Ri'saad's note on his new wares.

Players who've reached that point will be able to buy Madness Ore directly from Ri'saad's caravan, which travels from city to city between Whiterun and Markarth. Ri'saad's inventory restocks every two days, so skipping time to buy more is a smart move.
