To play the latest Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty: Warzone update, fans must know how to fix the "your data is corrupt error" in Warzone and MW3.

Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 1 launched today with a long list of changes for multiplayer, Zombies, and Battle Royale. From new weapons and maps to spawn and movement updates, the new season contains a slew of content for all aspects of the game. Plus, fans can finally start grinding the MW3 Battle Pass to receive free rewards.

As fans eagerly log on to explore Urzikstan or finally exceed Level 55, they are being stopped by an error screen that, fortunately, has an easy fix.

What is "Your Data is Corrupt Error" in Warzone?

Upon logging into Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 1, many players are greeted with an error that states, "Your data is corrupt or didn't download properly." Then, they are told, "You must reset your rank and unlocks to continue."

The only two options to get rid of the error are "yes" or "no." Which one should you choose?

To fix "your data is corrupt error" in Warzone, simply hit "yes" and the error screen will disappear. Nothing will happen to your rank or unlocks.

The CODUpdates X account posted, "Players logging into Season 1 may see an incorrect error message stating their data is corrupt. Rest assured that your rank, unlocks, and purchases are not lost, although Loadouts, customization, and certain settings may be reset."

The developers are aware of the issue and hopefully working to get it eliminated from the game as quickly as possible. In the meantime, make sure your loadouts and settings remain unchanged before you load into Battle Royale or multiplayer matches.
