After what feels like forever, fans can finally get the Drum Gun in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2.
Fortnite update v29.01 arrived today with the grand return of everyone's favorite character, Midas. Now that the Greek gods have infiltrated Epic Games' Battle Royale, bringing The Underworld to the island, Midas has risen from the dead. Ascendant Midas is now an NPC on the island, and the featured skin is coming to the Item Shop next week. The NPC also brought his iconic Drum Gun back to Fortnite.

To get a Drum Gun in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, you must find the weapon from floor loot, Chests, Supply Drops, Supply Drones, or Weapon Cases. If you want a surefire way to get your hands on an Epic Drum Gun, you can purchase the weapon from the Ascendant Midas NPC.
The Drum Gun is undoubtedly the new best long-range weapon in the game. The OP weapon was always a fan-favorite in Chapter 2, and now, it easily clears the Nemesis Assault Rifle and the Warforged Assault Rifle.
Where to Find Ascendant Midas in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2
To find Ascendant Midas in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, fans must head to The Marigold Yacht. The yacht is as far west as you can go on the map, right in-between the grass biome and the new Underworld biome.
The NPC will be wandering around the ship. Once you find him, all you have to do is interact with him to purchase the Epic Drum Gun for 300 Bars. Like any other NPC, Ascendant Midas will also provide you with a randomized heal or shield.
