While code redemption for Android users is simple, it’s different for iOS owners. Apple has restrictions regarding code activation via devices, meaning iPhone and iPad owners must visit the official Niantic website to process them. 

If you’re using a computer to redeem a code, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Niantic website.
  2. Sign in if you need to.
  3. Enter your promo code.
  4. Hit “Submit.”

Android users can do this to redeem codes through their devices:

  1. Open Pokémon GO.
  2. Tap the Poké ball at the bottom.
  3. Press the shop icon.
  4. Scroll to the bottom, where you’ll find a field that says “Enter your promo code.”
  5. Type the code into the field.
  6. Press “Redeem.”
