With the release of Mass Effect Legendary Edition, fans of the series are ready to dive back in and reunite with all their favorite characters. Of course, finding love is an important part of any Mass Effect game, and that remains true. One fan favorite to romance is Liara T'Soni, the Asari researcher who's more than a little curious about Shepard. Here's our guide to falling in love with Ms. T'Soni.

How to Romance Liara T’Soni in Mass Effect Legendary Edition

Liara is romanceable across all three Mass Effect games, so let's start from the beginning with Mass Effect 1. After Liara joins the N7 team, talk to her to begin the process, and make sure to pick Paragon choices when applicable. You might feel the urge to be a bad boy and choose Renegade, but Liara isn't in to that, so keeping it clean-cut is for the best. At some point, Liara will bring up the topic of Kaiden and Ashley, and whether or not Shepard is interested romantically in them. Naturally, as you're trying to get with Liara, pick the "It's not serious" option, and then the "There is" option.

After that, it's pretty straightforward. Just choose Paragon options when talking to Liara, and don't make her mad. Eventually, this will all culminate in a final bedroom scene with Liara. Once again, pick the Paragon option, and you'll receive the Paramour achievement for all your hard work.

Because Mass Effect carries progress over, if you managed to secure the romance with Liara in the first game, it'll carry over to the Mass Effect 2 DLC, Lair of the Shadow Broker. Depending on the romantic actions Shepard had in Mass Effect 2, you can either choose to stay loyal to Liara, and break it off and stay friends.

Finally, in Mass Effect 3, there's only one moment you need to pay attention to in order to romance Liara. You'll be able to find her near the rail in Meridian Place Market in the Presidium Commons portion of the Citadel. Talk to her, and you'll be able to reaffirm your love. This will lock in your romance with Liara for Mass Effect 3, and you're set.
