How to Romance Samantha Traynor in Mass Effect LE

Romancing Samantha Traynor is one of the more intimate and convenient romance options you can choose from for Shepard in Mass Effect Legendary Edition, and here's how to do so.

As an Oxford graduate, British, hygienic and avid chess player, Traynor provides one of the more intimate and interesting romance storylines that Mass Effect can offer.

How to Romance Samantha Traynor in Mass Effect LE

Much like romancing with Steve Cortez in the third Mass Effect, Samantha Traynor is only exclusive to female Shepard as a romance option. Traynor does provide an interesting storyline as well, as a newcomer aboard the ship who wants to prove herself to the team - hilariously at times - while offering one of the more intimate relationships this game has to offer.

The path towards a romance with Traynor is fairly straightforward. Again, with all dialogue options be sure to select all of the Paragon options to ensure the relationship between Shepard and Traynor stays, as she plays for keeps.

Shepard will have to continuously talk with Traynor aboard the Normandy and will provide a lot of side quests throughout the course of the game, which makes it fairly convenient to spark a romance with her.

So long as the Paragon options have been maintained over the course of dialogue between Shepard and Traynor, eventually, the crucial scene between the two will occur in the captain's quarters. Traynor sends Shepard an email where she'll want to play her favorite pastimes with her, chess.

In the Captain's Cabin, Traynor will take a quick tour of the quarters and note how remarkable Shepard's lodging and facilities are compared to what the rest of the crew has to deal with. Traynor then asks Shepard for a few pointers on the game of chess, and there will be two dialogue options to select from, "That's it?" or "How about a shower?" select the shower option, and when prompted to, join Traynor in the shower for a very steamy scene between the two.

Doing so will lock in the relationship between Shepard and Traynor, and there will be no room for any other flings that female Shepard can choose from, unfortunately.
