How to Stop Steam From Opening on Startup

Through Steam Settings:

1. Open Steam.
2. Click on the Steam button at the top left corner of the screen to open the menu.
3. Select Settings.
4. Click on the Interface tab.
5. Uncheck the box next to Run Steam when my computer starts.
6. Click on OK to save your changes.

Through Windows Task Manager:

1. Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Manager.
2. Click on the Startup tab.
3. Locate Steam in the list of startup apps.
4. Right-click on Steam and select Disable.

Through Mac Dock

1. Right-click on the Steam icon from the dock.
2. Hover over Options.
3. Uncheck the Open at Login option.
